Skokie senior acting troupe presents: "Radio Daze"

(10.1.16)  Skokie’s senior acting troupe, Still Acting Up, are taking to the airwaves this month with their late night call-in show, and theater-goers had better listen up!

The troupe's "Radio Daze" opens on Oct. 13, with six shows playing at the Devonshire Playhouse in Skokie, through Oct. 23.

"Radio Daze" is written entirely by the acting troupe, with original music written by the troupe’s Barbara Brown & Georgia Cohen. The show is directed by Chicago director Genevieve Fowler. Performances are at the Devonshire Playhouse, 4400 Greenwood St. in Skokie.

The senior troupe has been producing their own musicals annually since 1986. Some of the performers laughingly refer to themselves as the “antique road show,” with several members 80 years of age or older. Still Acting Up! is sponsored by the Skokie Park District.
